Maricopa County, Arizona – The Maricopa County Environmental Services Department conducted more than 60,000 food safety inspections in the past year. Additionally, the department issued 3,400 new food permits during that same period. Presently, nearly 24,000 food permits are active in Maricopa County. These inspections and permits are part of ongoing efforts to help ensure the safety and health of local residents.
