Geneva Public Library in Geneva, NY, is hosting a series of painting classes for young people during mid-winter break. The classes will take place Thursday, February 19, with separate sessions for different age groups and interests.

Toddlers aged 2 to 5 will have a painting session starting at 10 a.m. where they will paint a snowy owl. At 12 p.m., children in grades 1 through 5 can join a session to paint a penguin. Teens, or those in grades 6 to 12, have an opportunity to paint a snowman ceramic from 2 to 3 p.m.

The classes will be led by Jessica Pemberton of The Artist’s Lounge. Registration is required and spaces are limited. Interested participants can sign up by visiting the library's calendar at gplny.org. The programs are funded by the Ontario County Youth Bureau.
